Cinesite internships
The more visual-effects talent we see here at Cinesite, the more we realise goes untapped and unrecognised. At least it did - until now.
Through Inspire, our talent development programme, we aim to:
- Support courses in animation and effects
- Identify and encourage new talent through internships
We offer applicants the chance to win a six week paid placement throughout the summer of 2012, and the fantastic opportunity of working alongside one of the world's leading visual effects teams. Last year's four winners are all still working with Cinesite, on major productions currently in-house.
Cinesite's internships are open to students who either hold a graduate qualification or are scheduled to graduate in 2012 or 2013.
Our visual effects internship is suited to artists with a background in computer animation or computer graphics, who are interested in modelling, animation, compositing, digital matte painting and other visual effects positions.
New to this year's initiative is a separate technical effects strand. This specifically targets graduates who may have a background in computer programming or have studied computer graphics but have an interest in technical effects and programming.
