Speakers announced for the RealTime Conference 2021

This year’s RealTime Conference theme is “Merging Physical and Digital Worlds – The Rise of the Metaverse”. Online talks will take place April 26-28th, with Cinesite presenting:

The Impact of Virtual Production on Animation
Cinesite CTO Michele Sciolette will be speaking on Tuesday 27th April, where he will be considering the ways that Real-Time is transforming animation.
Later the same evening, Cinesite’s Head of CG for Feature Animation Hank Driskill will be participating in the panel discussion closing the session, which will consider, “How is Real-Time Transforming Animation in the Commercial and Entertainment Spheres?”

Merging Physical & Digital Worlds Seamlessly – XR & Live Broadcast Shows
On Wednesday 28th April, Cinesite VFX supervisor Salvador Zalvidea and Lead Unreal Artist George Allan will be presenting on the use of Unreal Engine to create photorealistic environments for the enormous 130ft screen for the stage stunt show The Bourne Stuntacular.
Both Salvador and George will also be participating in the panel discussing at the close of the session.
