Eduardo Schmidek
Visualisation & Real-time Supervisor

Eduardo Schmidek is a Visualisation and Real-Time Supervisor, with more than 20 years of experience in Visualisation, Animation and VFX. Originating from Brazil, where he studied Computer Science, Eduardo is fluent in English, French, German and Portuguese.
Eduardo offers the ideal blend of technical and artistic skills: with years of VFX experience on high profile shows that require attention to detail, a wealth of visualisation experience including Oscar nominated features, and years of on-set virtual production experience.
On Robert Zemeckis’ The Witches, Eduardo was at the forefront of the development of a highly streamlined suite of Virtual Production tools and workflows, which gave Zemeckis complete freedom to translate his vision and input from the real to the CG world. Eduardo continued working directly with Zemeckis in his studio in California, during Postvis. This workflow which was established under Eduardo’s lead, was a fundamental foundation for many of the innovations since brought to the Visualisation department.
Eduardo proves to be innovative in formulating the best processes to achieve visualisation that will help bring projects to life. His positive attitude, wealth of knowledge and natural talent for what he does makes him an asset to any production. This has been highlighted in his recent credits including Interview with the Vampire, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, Hijack and season three of The Witcher.
Eduardo’s expertise will continue to shine in 2024 with the release of The Boys: S4 and Damsel, where he worked as Visualisation Supervisor and Postvis Supervisor respectively.
